Arabs on Monday morning threw stones at mispallalim who arrived at Kever Rachel located in PA (Palestinian Authority) –occupied Bet Lechem. Border police responded quickly, locking mispallalim inside and preventing others from coming into the ‘line of fire’ as masked Arabs launched what is being described as a “massive rock-throwing attack”. Baruch Hashem, there are no reports of injuries.
The tziyun was closed until IDF soldiers arrived and restored order.
During recent months the situation at the kever has been quiet and such instances are indeed rare.
After order was restored the kever was reopened, permitting mispallalim to enter and exit without limitations.
