In keeping with the wishes of Maran Posek HaDor HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv ZTV”KL , there will not be any hespeidim at the levaya. Tehillim will be recited and then the levaya will proceed on foot to Har Menuchos. It is reported that this was the wish of the late posek hador.
As previously reported, the Levaya will be held Wednesday night at 22:00. The levaya will begin at the home of the niftar, Chanan Street, Malchei Yisrael, Sarei Yisrael and then to Givat Shaul to Har Menuchos.
UPDATE 12:00PM EST: Due to the ongoing construction on Malchei Yisrael Street in Geula, the levaya for Maran Posek HaDor HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv ZTV”KL will travel via Chanan Street, to Shivtei Yisrael Street, to Bar Ilan, to Givat Shaul and then to Har Menuchos.
