  1. The news is heartbreaking. It sounds like there is a ceasefire in the works – but i don’t even know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I hope the Israeli government is not just caving into pressure and that they have a real plan in the works.
By the way… Yeshivaword, thank you so much for this site. Your coverage during this conflict has surpassed excellence! I don’t know how you all keep so on top of things. You guys did an amazing job! Keep up the good work!

  2. Former President Peres calls for bringing PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) back to rule over Gaza.

If there’s no Torah there’s no chochmah. Is Peres so senile that he has forgotten the atrocities committed by Abbas where hundreds of innocent Jews have been killed and wounded by his Fatah terrorists? Does he really believe replacing one terrorist organization with the other will make the situation in Gaza better? No wonder he was never prime minister.

  3. So, “Tweeted by the US Embassy in Tel Aviv: #SecKerry: “We have supported from day one Israel’s right to defend itself, to take action, to live free from rockets and from tunnels…” Not quite true John. It should read “We have said from day one we support Israel’s right ……….”, as indeed you have but in fact you have done the exact opposite. Behind the scenes the USA led by N Obama Esq has looked for a way out of being seen to do anything to help Israel win the war on Muslim terror it is actually fighting on the world’s behalf as well as its own. The Egyptians, hardly Israel’s closest ally, came up with a ceasefire plan built on their genuine understanding of the realities on the ground in Gaza. Kerry took it, spat in the Egyptian’s faces, threw it on the ground and stamped on it. Hamas have said very clearly that they are going to go on with their jihad however many civilians die in the Gaza strip, until their terms are met. Obama and Kelly, not to mention our old friend Wanky Moon, don’t have the guts and courage to stand up and say very simply “OK we tried to help you but if you Hamas, as we are told endlessly, the democratically elected representatives of the civilian population of Gaza, don’t want to talk, you can just carry on firing explosive rockets into Israel civilian population centers at random and hold up your hands to “ali allah” waiting for the response. That response is to destroy you, as a legitimate means of self defense. As we say in English , you can’t have your cake and eat it.

  4. Contrary to Peres leadership of Gaza should not be left in the hands of those who would make a pact to govern with Israel’s enemies. The land should be humbly returned to the residents of Gush Katif, who peacefully and lovingly tended it productively. See online documentary about Gush Katif Withdrawal (appx. 1 hour)

  5. So now finally our Muslim president can’t hold in his hatred of Israel any longer. Our supposed “ally,” who claims that Israel “has a right to defend itself,” now speaks his real mind. Knowing how Israel puts its own soldiers and citizens at more risk by being so careful about warning Gazan civilians in advance before bombing, he still has the nerve to condemn them for bombing places where Hamas shoots rockets from. No matter if they’re mosques, schools, hospitals—if Hamas is using human shields and intentionally putting their children and women in harm’s way, Israel should not be held responsible fir Gazan deaths. Israel, do what you must to protect your own citizens and stop worrying too much about the enemy!

  6. “Israel permitted 800,000 tons of cement to pass into Gaza, providing the materials for the vast tunnel network.”

    Hih?! Am I reading right?

  7. 13:51: Italian journalist covering the warfare @gabrielebarbati tweeted “out of Gaza far from Hamas retaliation. Misfired rocket killed children yday (yesterday) in Shati. Witness: militants rushed and cleared debris”.

This must be shown and repeated all over the world! They are killing their own, covering it up and blaming Israel! Savages!

  8. Day 22 and rockets are still flying all over the place? What on earth is going on there? This operation is a joke…other than finding some tunnels what are they actually doing there?

  9. ‘I saw a ghost behind the door, when the kids were coming home from the war, with broken dreams and nothing more! ‘

    Kim Larsen.
