Eldad’s Bill to Cease Visitations for Imprisoned Terrorists

November 26, 2009

MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Prof. Aryeh Eldad next week will present a bill in Knesset seeking to prevent visitation privileges for terrorists imprisoned in Israel affiliated with the same terror organization that is holding Gilad Shalit captive, in this case Hamas.

The bill was slated for a vote about two months ago, but Eldad complied with a request from senior state leaders to postpone the move, but now, he states it is clear the government is uninterested in placing pressure on Hamas, but apparently prefers to continue with a policy of concessions and releasing terrorists from prison.

  1. Imprisoned Terrorists should not be allowed to conspire against humanity. They should not be allowed to send messages through visitors back to their home base.
