Why were they detained?
Is it against the law in Israel to sacrifice a goat?
Truthfully, we should all be doing Karbon Pesach today.
It is a Koolah, that we do not on fear that people will begin to do other Karbonos without the Bais Hamikdash.
(Karbon Pesach can be brought without the Mikdash. It can also be brought by Tamaih Meis if the majoroty of Yisrael is Tamaih Mais, as they did between Bais Rishon and Sheni.)
