PHOTOS: Large Fire At Kosher Winery In Monticello

The Monticello Fire Department was on the scene battling a fire at a Kosher winery in Sullivan County, Sunday evening.

Fire Departments from multiple towns were dispatched to the Armon Kosher Winery (Allied Wine Corp. / Monticello Winery) at 2 Fairground Road, near Cold Spring Road in the Town of Monticello, shortly after 2:00PM. The fire burned for hours, and firefighters were still on the scene at 7:00PM.

The two alarm blaze caused heavy damage, sources tell YWN, causing the roof to collapse.

According to the Armon website, they manufacture a variety of Kosher wines and spirits, and moved to relocated to Monticello in 2006.
