Several local councils have put on record that they will evict the entire family of every rioter convicted in spite of the fact that the other family members will suffer. So why is it one rule for the UK and another for Israel? If the UK can do this, what gave everyone the right to criticise Israel for doing the same when of course terrorists are far, far worse than looters? When asked why they were putting socially deprived people on the streets, one london borough council leader said 'they should have thought of that before embarking on their looting'.</p> <p>Even if only one family member, eg a son, was involved, the entire family would be evicted.</p> <p>Er, anyone remember the outcry against the Israeli policy of pulling down homes of terrorists, leaving their poor families homeless... ? </p>
