contact Hakhel, they have a list of various gemachs including medical ones, which may have a portable ramp or tell you where to buy/rent it. GEMACH LIST - send a self-addressed letter-sized envelope with two first-class stamps to: Hakhel List, 1327 E. 26th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11210-5204. or call 718-252-5274 for more information

also, when we were looking for such an item (we didn't end up getting it, though) we did actually see it on "carol wright gifts", but i can't vouch for its safety rating.

ItcheSrulik; A wheel chair ramp (For those that need one) is not a portable item and has to be custom-built and properly anchored. Therefore it is not something that most volunteer organizations (Like Chaveirim) would deal with. The route to go would be to inquire with a contractor about size, type and cost of building one. (Albeit for relatively short-term use.) And then inquiring about financial help to defray the cost of setting it up.

I never heard of that organization, but google seems to indicate that it's located in Israel. If you live in the Flatbush/BP/Crown Heights area, my idea might be feasible. I'd be willing to help.

I don't know a gemach, but chaverim or just some handy guys with time on their hands might be willing to help you build one. If you get enough people you might be able to finish it fairly quikly.
