Yeah, I thought it was interesting. :) crazybrit, you have to admit, everyone's HEARD of it. It's not like you couldn't have gotten it.
Who's going next?

WIY,
A casual look at Wikipedia reveals the following: "A mineral is an element or chemical compound that is normally crystalline and that has been formed as a result of geological processes."
Nobody considers pearl formation to be a geological process.
Also, cultured and uncultured pearls are basically the same, except that cultured pearls are assisted by human intervention.
I never even heard it! But i can start a new one but I only go on when I come home from school and i dont go on evry day. do u still want me?
One of
You had to pick something I never heard of? Sheesh! ;-)
DY
Thanks you are correct I Google some more. It is interesting to read up on pearls and how they are made so Google about pearls and minerals if you feel like knowing more about it.
What does o_O mean?
o_O = raised eyebrow, incredulity, bewilderment
C'mon, you've NEVER heard about lightning hitting sand? You didn't have to guess the proper name to get it right.
supergirl613: Bring it on! :)
aluminum, diamonds, gold, nickel, lead, zinc copper?
OK One Of I will
Guess guys!!!!
cholent?
Is it alive?
was it one of my guesses?
#1-no
#2-no
#3-no!!!
keep guessing!!!!
New rule: You can only use a question on a guess if you're really, really sure that it's it. Otherwise, we'll never get it!
Is it manmade?
does it grow from the ground?
#4 One of- yes!!
#5 Mo-no sorry
Does it have any mechanical/electronic components?
English please- One Of!!!
Any machinery? Like a piece of paper (not mechanical or electronic) vs. a compass (mechanical)?
Supergirl
That is English that any high-school aged girl should comprehend.
Bumpity bump.
sorry one of #6-electronic
Whenever we used to play this as kids my dad always used to ask, "is it green?":)
is it tangible or abstract?(cos they don't teach you english in that foreign land, tangible basically means physical, touchable:):-P ) KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS!-WE'LL GET IT EVENTUALLY!
Knacker
Kids are getting dumber today. It's pathetic. All they want to do is text their friends and be on the internet Facebook twitter whatever. They can't spell and they don't know a thing. We are rolling out a new generation of dummies who only know how to communicate via txt mssg wtvr. Rant over carry on.
WIY: All that you've mentioned above is NOT making kids "dumber" - it's just cultural conditioning. I really don't think that texting or Facebook or whatever reduces a person's actual mental capacity. And you can't attack the kids for whatever apathy or intellectual slovenliness they may have - it's not even a conscious decision on their part, so that won't do any good.
I know how to spell!!!!!!!!!
Knacker- is it green? is that one of your questions? because if it is,
#7-no
#8-to is it tangible-yes!
I don't think #8 was necessary, but okay.
supergirl613: Is it used by consumers/for general-purpose use? (As opposed to scientific/military/whatever sort of equipment.)
knacker I got a q for u:
do u spell ur name with or without the N?
LOL
Crazy- LOL
#9-yes
Is it larger than a 2 liter soda bottle?
one of it depends so it cant be a question
sorry!
think of another one and dont think so deeply!!!
No no, that's a good answer.
Does it have a screen?
ok so it counts-gr8! that was #10 so this is
#11-no
Does it have audio output?
C'mon, no one else wants to play?
does it entertain?
#12- no
I know right- like no one else is playing!!!!
If you put together all of the questions and answers so far I will play. It's just hard to jump in in middle without knowing what was or wasn't asked.
It's not chulent, it's not alive, it's not aluminum, diamonds, gold, nickel, lead, zinc or copper, it's manmade, it does not grow from the ground, it has electronic components, it's not green, it is tangible, it's used for general-purpose use, it sometimes is (and sometimes isn't) larger than a 2 liter soda bottle, it doesn't have a screen, it doesn't have audio output.
Basically, we're looking for some sort of consumer electronic equipment, with no screen or sound (so probably for task-oriented vs. entertainment use), that comes in different sizes.
Okay WIY, here goes...
I am not cholent, I am not alive, I am not one of moskidoodle's guesses from last round, I am manmade, I do not grow from the ground, I have electronic components, I am tangible, I am used by consumers/for general purpose use, I am not green, I do not have a screen, and I do not entertain.
WHAT AM I???
Thanks oneof and moishy
Bump.
an air conditioner?
#13- no sorry
Keep Guessing!!! :)
Does its use require user interaction (like a piano keyboard, typewriter, phone, etc.) - as opposed to something that runs on its own, with only minimal user interaction (like a space heater, blender, toaster etc.)?
#14-minimal user interaction
I'm just telling you it's a very random thing!
is it used on a day to day basis by everyone?
Does it have a plug/wires?
Is it used in food preparation?
