Is anyone familiar with any purported health benefits of using an alkaline water ionizer? It removes contaminants and microorganisms (acidic, alkaline, oxygen, antioxident) from the water and is measured by pH.

Some of the brands are Kangen and IonWays and they tend to cost about $1,500+.

These devices are fantastic. They generally increase the health (and girth) of the wallet of the charlatan who sold it to you.

How is this different than the water filters sold in Costco or Walmart?

Get yourself a decent for $100, and save your money from this alkaline ionizer business.

There is a difference between the one that costs $1500 and the one from Costco. The one for $1500 is a water ionizer as apposed to a water filter. My doc disapproves of ionizers. (I have one and am ready to sell for cheap-not to a yid though. If it’s not good for me it’s not good for you.)

How much did you pay for it and how much are you selling it for? (What brand?)

And why isn’t it good for a person?

tryinghard, why isn’t it good for you? I understand that some people say it doesn’t really help, but it sounds like your doctor thinks it is bad for your health. You are assuming that s/he was saying it is bad for anyone’s health. What is the reason for that?

Dr. said it changes ph balance from body in the wrong way. It should be changed by eating an alkaline diet. I have a Chanson ionizer and am ready to sell for $1,200.00 (sells for $1,650.00) Mine was barely used.

What does the ph balance mean and represent?
