illini07: 1) if she banned the books liberals claim she did, then she should be voted in as kings and high seer, as she banned books that would have come out after her banning them! as for her experience, the size of the city and state is irrelevant, as is the time she spent as one. she had to balance a budget, and pay staff, senators do neither. she balanced her budget every time in wasilla, and is one of few states that is flush with cash right now. she actually repealed the tax on gas her state, and actually gave over a grand back to alaska residents this past year. she is in charge of the alaskan national guard, which is one of the most important divisions in the fight in afghanistan!

book banning, the chief alskan librarian said that she never told her to ban a book. it was an interview question, if she were to tell her to take a book off the shelves would she. maybe she wanted teh librarian to say no. ever think of that?
as to the thing with her ex brother in law, the guy was tasing his step son who was 10 years old. but then again, liberals never get the whole story, just bits of it. oh, and he still has his job, so what exactly was done?

Liberals tend to take a small incident and blow it out of proportions or take a clipping from a long sentence/quote and portray that as her point. Deal with it- liberals love to misquote republicans when the liberals feel they are losing/have nothing to attact the opponent on/or are just not gaining any ground.
I never said that Ms. Palin actually banned books; she just repeated asked the city librarian if she would. If this was a test of whether she’d say yes or no, then why did she ask more than once? I still think someone who’d ask that question may not be ready to be vice president.
And I still don’t think it’s a good idea to charge crime victims, or their insurance companies, for forensic testing intended to apprehend their attackers. (Especially because many people don’t have good insurance, and even if they do, usuallly pay some costs for tests covered by their insurance companies). I think this is a cost that should be absorbed by the government & paid for through taxes, just as other policing costs are.
It’s true that as senator Mr. Obama neither directly paid staff or balanced a budget. But when running his campaigns he did both of these on a larger scale than Ms. Palin.
I’m not saying that Obama/ Biden is necessarily a better ticket than McCain/ Palin. But I am saying that you should know the facts about whom your voting for. No candidate is perfect; you need to choose which combination of plusses and minuses makes for the better candidate.

book banning: the answer palin gave at the time, in 1996 btw, way before she was picked as veep, so it had nothing to do with spin, was that she called her inquiries rhetorical and simply part of a policy discussion with a department head about understanding and following administration agendas. that they were hypothetical doesnt make a difference to liberals. they were appropriate, as she wanted to know the how these type of disputes are handled, as there were complaints to her office about certain books. the reason she asked more then once, three times to be exact, was because each was a differant setting, and she felt she needed to ask each time, in her personal interview, and then in front of different public hearings. she isnt hiding it. it was public knowledge. obama has yet to answer for any of his associations!
the pay for your own rape kit story is the stupidest spin liberals can make, because googling it, you realize it is a non story., see it had nothing to do with palin, but the police chief of wassila. he didnt want rape victims to pay, and he also didnt want the LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES to pay. he wanted the criminals to pay! its a story in The Frontiersman in 2000. at the time, in 200, only one rape had been recorded IN THEIR HISTORY! since this was not a huge crime, legislation was never passed over it. in other municipalities in alaska, where that crime was maybe more prevalent, the local police dept. did pick up the tab. it was never ever her policy to make anyone pay for the kits, not the person, not the insurance company, not the govt, as it was never a area she mentioned, just as biden, obama, and mccain have no position on this matter.
i guarantee you obama has never balanced a budget. he has staff doing that. even democrats have said, during the campaign a nominee has little to no idea what i the world is going on, except that they get flown around to speaking gigs. that he balances his campaign budget is nonsense. (saying he does, makes him a very bad manager, as he would thenbe micro managing, which on a campaign size of his would be very foolish!)
so now that YOU know the FACTS, answer my questions point by point:
why hasnt obama released his thesis from 83 on communism and russia? whay hasnt he been honest about sharing the stage and chaering a board with william ayers, and homegrown terrorist a leader of the weathermen, and then the weather underground? why did he use to feel that he shouldnt cover his heart during the national anthem? why can he not denounce his friends father flayger and louis farakhan for their hateful speeches. what was his involvement with acorn, and the effect of his involvement and the current housing crisis? why hasnt obama given back at least some of the money he received as campaign contributions from freddie and fannie, obama – 165,400?
then when you are done that, answer this:
why should a person like michelle be our first lady? a person that has never felt proud for her country? what has her friendships with bill ayers and Farrakhan been really about? why has she freely used the word “whitey” when describing white people?
and then about both of them: why did it take 20 years to leave the trinity church. no one believes that they were never there for anti american rantings of that madman rev wright!

gmab, There is no other word for blacks in Yiddish other than shvartze. All the word means is black. As in, I have a shvartze car. When speaking in Yiddish or Yinglish, shvartza is black, roit is red, vass is white, and silver is zilber.

yes, it has gotten a aometimes negative connotation to it over the years, but technically, and inherently, there is nothing wrong with it.
i find it funny that in the entire post of mine, you only took to one issue, and instead of answering it, you pointed to a bunch of jews and said “but you say scvartza, na na na kish kish”. last i checked, sprintze malkah’s husband isnt running for president of the free world. Mariner, the reason the libs dont want to belive it is because once their candidates are picked (for the different offices-not just prez- senate, house, governor…..) we wont be the superior country, morally or otherwise! what did their last president do? commit a felony in office? this past president of the united states of america should have spent the rest of his term, if not longer, in jail! when the dems control congress- who knows what will happen next? the dems control CA and see what residents will vote on this november- prop 8- to protect marriage as it should be and not have toeivas! (it was passed by the state congress and now the people are voting to repeal it). Protect our country! we are the symbol for the free world!!!
