Did anyone here ever read The Phantom Tollbooth when they were little? I loved that book...I even used it for a college admissions essay as the book the made the most impact on my life. :)

I read that years ago and don't remember much. Something about rhyme and reason was in there. And jumping to Conclusions. I was told I should reread it as I might actually understand it now that I'm a few years older.

    OneOfMany-

"Did anyone here ever read 'The Phantom Tollbooth' when they were little?"

I remembered "WolfishMusings" mentioning it, and a Google search of the CR brings up this post:
    http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/please-share-recommendations-for-childrens-fiction/page/2#post-114083

It is also mentioned in a few other threads.

I read it, but don't remember much about it. For whatever reason, some books "stick" and others don't.
I did retain a favorable enough impression of the book that it's in the collection I gathered for the jr's.
