Yesterday an israeli soldier hy”d was killed by no less than seven bullets at relativly close range from accross the israeli lebanese border.

Israel eventually retaliated by aiming fire at two lebanese soldiers.

The BBC reported, in its typical anti semitic way, Israel shoots lebanese troops. At about 9:30 GMT they changed their headline to shots fired at troops, but the article still focused on the israeli shots. How’s that for biased reporting? Reply Forward

You want them to say it like it is? What kind of world do you think we live in?

Personally, I find BBC to be more even handed than frum news sources in reporting news about Israel. Most Jewish newspapers are incredibly biased.

    Yserbius, it’s called “Bias Ne’eman”.

@ Israeli Chutznik: Many years ago, I found the BBC pathetically biased against Israel. But in recent years it seems to have become much more impartial.

@ Yserbius: I would also expect the Palestinian media to be biased against Israel. It’s the international media, who are neither Jewish nor Arab, which we expect to be unbiased.

The BBc bias lies not only in the way it reports, but WHAT it reports. They failed to report the soldier being killled in it’s own right, only mentioning it when israel retaliated.

But even say the Iran deal, when they mentioned Netanyahu opposition they made it like his main problem is the new kesher between US and Iran and that the us is less responsible for israeli security. They didn’t even bother informing the public about the obvious concern that absolutely no supervision was introduced for any sites other than those the g6 have already found out about – and even those the us only knows about through info from iran’s internal opposition.

That is a basic point missing in the deal, and when one thinkks about it one relises that Obama is probably nuts, but the BBC simply didn’t find it necasary to tell the public

@ Zushy: The Beeb DID report on the killing of the soldier the day before Israel retaliated. Even when they reported on the retaliation, they specified in the headline “In response to…”

@ If Obama is nuts, probably all the Western leaders – and Putin – are also nuts (oh wait…!). But actually, all politicians should be doing what is best for their own country, not somebody else’s. Obviously they feel the deal is best for their countries. However, they will now have no right to complain if Israel, concerned for itself, attack Iran against the terms of the agreement.
