If they are deep fried, it isn’t at all clear that the bracha is hamotzi.
So what is the problem? You need to wash n’tilas yadayim for bread too.
Is there no water available?
What PBA said. If they have no Tzuras HaPas (hard to judge because there are many different opinions about what that means) and they are smaller than a K’zayis then they are for sure Mezonos if deep fried, even if they used to actually be bread.
Actually, once something becomes toxic (as with deep-frying), that is not the case.
