    True. Very true. I forgot what regular tabouli tastes like. I used to love the Costco tub of tabouli. It’s been decades. I don’t know if it’s kosher.

    I like quinoa tabouli. I don’t know if quinoa makes for good falafels.

    Once I took ground quinoa and made microwaved kneidelach things. They tasted a lot like dense unfried falafels.

    But I think the texture of bulgur is the secret to making them falafeli.

    Bulgur is yum. Similar to rice, but much healthier and more flavorful. Just brown it in a little oil, add 2x amount boiling water, salt, pepper and cook on low flame for about 5 minutes.

    Oh yea, WTP! I forgot that grains taste so yummy after they are toasted a bit, before they are cooked.I haven’t done that in a while.
