    soliek im going to a starbucks tonight and im gonna be there a while…i usually just order black coffee just to fulfill the requirement of buying something…but i was wondering if i could buy a frapp there too? im getting sick of black coffee…is it mutar to buy other stuff at starbucks?

    Hi Soliek, I cannot remember the source, but I read an article stating that most products people assume are kosher at Starbucks, in some parts of the country, they may, in fact, not be. Be careful!

    They have three kosher lists which vary according to different kashrus standards. I use the kosher ingredients list.

    Are you sure a black coffee is ok? I believe R Veiner speaks about it and is not ok with it. There are issues such as having the kailim in the dishwasher together with tarfus, and maybe other issues as well. Lo bussi elluh li’orer
