family feud(the game not literal).
APushetaYid,
Kids (and ages)? Adults?
The Wolf
Draydel
My family once had everyone (adults and kids) bring in a small gift, not wrapped, valued between $1 and $5. We divided into groups of about 10, with one person holding a bag of small items.
The person holding the bag would call out two letters, say A and T, and then pull out a gift. The first person who could come up with a reasonable name for the object using words made with those two letters got to keep the gift.
For example, if the person pulled out a small doll, one could say "adorable toddler" etc.
Dreidel (or Kvitlach) with chocolate coins wrapped in foil.
The value of the coins is sorted in size and color.
The gold coins being worth more than the silver, larger coins being double
than the smaller coins.
Then at the end of the game the kids get to cash in their coins from their parents
for real money, (or a gift) while keeping the chocolate too.
LiLIsraeli, sounds like fun
Pin the shamash on the menorah.
I created a chanuka bingo - with pictures so all ages can play. Great fun.
If it doesn't have to specifically be Chanukah-oriented, Pictionary is my favorite.
estherh, we did that once using pictures of family members, one of the more talented among us scanned them in and made the board. Then we had hints. Like which one lives in California? Which one has the longest name? etc... The adults and kids really enjoyed.
My friend once took pictures, cut out the noses of diff family members attending the party and enlarged it. By the Chanukah party everyone had to guess whose nose was whose. She said it was a hit!!!
arc- who makes up the top 10 answers?
Pin the colored shirt on the bochur.
ronrsr: Is he wearing jeans?

Gotta be Bananagrams.
Pictionary is a LOT of fun. Charades, too.
My family invented a new fast paced draidel game that's loads of fun.
You will need a lot of draidels for this. Here's how it goes:
Each player gets 5 draidels. On go you start spinning all 5 draidels , and you cannot allow more than 2 draidels to be down at once. As one falls or starts slowing down you have to pick it up and respin it to keep it going. Who ever keeps it going longest wins,
Another version is to spin as many draidels at once as possible-as soon as one falls you stop and count how many you had going at once. Who ever gets the most wins.
Wow sounds like fun! i wish i saw this thread before..:)
You can always play pass the present -with either presents inside, or challenges ( like: who can blow a bubble with gum first) or they have to answer a question about chanukah.
Or you put different color stickers under the chairs or plates, and whoever has a certain sticker gets a prize or has to answer a question.
