    Very often I get letters from non Jewish charities, where they attach one or two coins such as nickel or quarters.
    Do we need to send that back, or just keep the coins.

    You can keep anything anyone sends you. You did not ask for the item so its considered a gift

    According to halacha you don’t have to send it back. It could even be that you are not permitted to send it back.
