Hi, everyone. I just put up a new song! It's a cover of a song I like from a famous band. And pardon my less-than-stellar singing in it! :)

MiddlePath, you are very talented! I have this new program on my computer, and I am trying to figure out how to record my own stuff and have it sound like its good quality. Men can spread their music to anyone they want.. dont miss that opportunity. Keep it up!

Thanks, emunas! Yes, I am using that opportunity to the fullest. But women can still make instrumental songs, or even sing and just tell men not to listen. What program is it? I have a little experience with Cakewalk and Guitar Pro. I'm sure cleverjewishpun has some experience with recording software as well.

I have guitar Pro. I have done a few recordings in a studio, it just gets very expensive. My music is my neshama in notes. My main instrument is my voice, BH, so just doing instrumental isnt as fun. As a woman, you can definitely make recordings but you cant really make it a parnassah. I still do it though because I want to try to touch who ever I can with it, with Hashems help. Hopefully I will get the hang of how the program works. :-)

RavKahane, great choice with November Rain! But to be honest, that's a pretty tough song to sing, and I'm no Axl Rose..

With all due respect I would like to remind you of this thread.

This is nothing personal chas veshalom. I think you are a great guy and have a lot of musical talent and really know how to write a rock song(I listened to some of the songs briefly I think the first 2 you posted but didnt hear the whole thing because I dont listen to rock music anymore.) However please dont discuss the music here, the names of bands, songs or singers. Lets keep this a Yeshiva world coffee room that is preparing for the Yom Hadin.

WIY, you're right, I said I wouldn't discuss these things here. I'm sorry. For the future, when I post an update for a new song I made or put up, I will be careful with how I describe it and what I compare it to. Thanks for bringing this back to my attention.
