    Well, I doubt I've gotten better. I havent really played in a couple of years (my husband doesnt like to play chess). My 900 was provisional from the 2-3 tournaments I went to.

    Honestly, I didnt think most Jews even knew what the USCF is LOL. But I'm looking forward to a good match.

    Squeak, I've been searching for Bobby Fischer!

    There is actually a frum guy about my age who is AWESOME at chess. I thought he was the coolest thing since sliced bread when I was a teenager. My chess coach had tutored him when when he was young. He used to get hired out to the Homowack and some other places to play 20 people at once or blindfolded and stuff like that.

    Squeak thats funny. Although I doubt he would know who I was. I met him once - he was a celebrity and I was merely a groupie :-) I did play some games against him online (way back when). I always aspired to be as good as he was. Did you ever play with him? Or teach him everything he knows? LOL.

    He became a Master before 18, IIRC. I have never been that good. I've played him, and been creamed. But I beat him with a queen handicap. Online, his blitz rating is nearly 3000.

    I heard that he once played against Kasparov online and the first game was a draw (which is an incredible feat).

     This is like when I hold open the door for someone (not an eisha, chas vesholom), and the person insists "After you". No, doink, it's After YOU since I am the one who is holding the door. We could just sit for hours saying "No, you first" "No I insist" etc.

     Please just make your move. I wouldn't want to be thought of as something other than an honest fellow ;-)
