This guy starts threads, purposely on controversial subjects. He gets them rolling and checks in every month or so to see where they're holding. I'm not one to shy away from controversy, so his threads don't really bother me, but I can't imagine that no-one else here realized this, and they're still taking him seriously. Sheesh!

I really don't understand why threads like this are approved. This thread showing up in the list means that a moderator saw it as pending and felt that is was an appropriate discussion for the group.
In the last few months I've seen one person leave because of a witch hunt, I've seen another person get raked over the coals publicly because of the possibility that they were posting on Shabbos (no idea how that was resolved)and the one thing they have in common is that a single person gets attacked publicly for all to see.
If you have such a concern over the behavior of another person, or if you feel a person is here solely to disrupt, why can't you message the moderators about that and be discreet? Why make a thread to attack the person? If someone is inquisitive and you call them a troll, is that right? Even if someone is a troll, is the proper response to publicly embarrass them?
I may not be as learned as some of the posters here that portray themselves as poskim and gedolim but I do know that public humiliation has no place on a site calling itself yeshiva world no matter what the circumstances.
I respectfully ask that people stop these public hangings and if we're incapable of this then I respectfully ask that the moderators stop allowing them to be published.

more2- when people come here to throw in five words and set off a storm, they deserve to be told that theyre ruining it for everyone else. I agree that to a legitamite poster its wrong, but this guy just tries to start up. I'm not one of these freaky watcher dudes but I noticed from day one how this dude posts, and although he's gonna answer this post with an indignant tirade about being dan likaf zchus, he probably is, as pba pointed out, giggling with his super geshmak friends somewhere as they huddle over a wifi signal.

Toi, I believe this poster is legitimate. Not everyone has time on their hands to post daily... It seems to me he needs answers and doesn't want to post personal stories for fear of being figured out.. Colored shirts, eating at people's houses with teens, hatzola, yeshivish learning navi, etc are Personal circumstantial experiences which requires questions he needs answers to. but he has worded it in a generic way, he wants to hear what people's opinions are on things that there are no exact right or wrong answers to in the Jewish world or there is but they have been covered up so heavily by the oilom that many hold that it's mutter. I don't see him storing up the crowd, rather people who post should be more considerate with there words concerning different views that they may have... And if one is giggling with friends, who cares??! As long as they are happy. With so much Tzara in the world we need more of that! If you've made someone's day by writing a saggy comment or whatever, I'd turn it around and say Kol hakavod!! ;) if this is the case with him let him post and be merry!!

Yeah when "people" in klal yisroel post lashon hara about you berabim it's only common to try to defend yourself and set it straight... personally I dont want to become a regular.... I have a life outside yeshivah world CR and would like to keep it... Its still hard to belive the mods allowed this thread to be posted.. There so so so careful about maybe mentioning something assur but to say lashon hara about another poster gets through ?? Idk maybe im missing something?

corey, all the posters that are against you in this thread is one "mod" that has a bunch of usernames. nebach he thinks everyone else does the same thing as him. Let him believe what he wants to believe.. I didn't create coreytothecup and my wife didn't create it either. we BOTH do not post from that username. If for whatever reason you believe coreytothecup belongs to us, it means it's definitely someone within our wifi area range, and someone we know! be careful!! What you are doing is wrong in more ways than one. As far as I can tell, Coreytothecup has only one screenname. He, like popa_bar_abba, is a one man Troll. He is neither more, nor more_2. But if he doesn't watch himself, he might be posting no more... :)
