Why is it a compliment to associate food with moral decline?
July 3, 2017 8:45 am at 8:45 am #1308783☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI tried complimenting my wife by telling her that her food was very good for my pursuit of prishus.
That didn’t go over very well.
July 3, 2017 9:53 pm at 9:53 pm #1309763LightbriteParticipantOr calling someone a Ding Dong?
July 4, 2017 1:02 pm at 1:02 pm #1310124👑RebYidd23ParticipantHuh?
July 4, 2017 4:19 pm at 4:19 pm #1310407LightbriteParticipantI thought this thread was about people using names of decadent foods as an insult. In some parts of the world, Ding Dongs may be considered the casual nonJewish man’s decadent dessert. But as far as I know, they’re trief.
Better to stick to Little Debbie’s — her Cocoa Creme is supposedly comparable, according to virtual clues. But I’m not sure if one would be insulted if called a cocoa creme. Rather, it may be a term of endearment.
July 4, 2017 6:35 pm at 6:35 pm #1310453👑RebYidd23ParticipantWhen you tell the cook that the food is what’s wrong with this generation, it’s an insult.
July 4, 2017 6:50 pm at 6:50 pm #1310477☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantNo it isn’t.
July 4, 2017 10:49 pm at 10:49 pm #1310529👑RebYidd23ParticipantWhy is it not an insult to tell someone that something they did is very bad?
July 4, 2017 11:01 pm at 11:01 pm #1310552☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantIt is.
July 4, 2017 11:01 pm at 11:01 pm #1310554LightbriteParticipantConstructive criticism can be very good.
July 5, 2017 12:35 am at 12:35 am #1310586LightbriteParticipantWait what kind of decadent food reference doubles as an insult?
July 5, 2017 10:30 am at 10:30 am #1310715👑RebYidd23ParticipantThe word itself.

July 5, 2017 11:49 pm at 11:49 pm #1311625LightbriteParticipantOne synonym of decadent is self-indulgent.
