I wanted to share something very inspiring I heard recently at a yom iyun for women.
There was a famous rebbetzin there (I don’t want to post her name because people might figure out where I was), who said, that you know when babies sometimes cry, and you can’t figure out why? Like you’ve fed them, changed them, cuddled them, and they just won’t stop crying? It’s because they are more sensitive to ruchniyos because their neshama is so pure. And my friend (also a rebbetzin, but not so famous) who was there explained to me that the big rebbetzin was saying that is why tzaddikim like Rav Elyashiv ztz”l and all the bnei toirah are willing to have lots of kids, and some people can’t handle more than one or two.
Are you sure this wasn’t a carlebach story?
Also, to be fair, the credit goes to Rebbetzin Elyashiv, zt”l, who wouldn’t let a crying baby disturb her husband’s learning.

My rebbetzin told me that if you can’t figure out why they’re crying, they might have a tummy ache.

I think that what PBA is saying is that people who don’t have as many aveiros can have more kids because their babies cry less…lol

babies cry from the moment they are born cause of the loss that they had to return to this physical world to make up for a sin they did in their previous life. as they get older-week by week- they cry less due to Hashem removing from their memory any reminder of what it was like in the olam Haemes with the avos etc…
may we all be fortunate to complete our missions in this world ASAP so we can be taken to the only real & true world above with seeing & feeling Hashems presence 24-7

If you or anyone for that matter knew what the olam Haemes is truly about (%100 spiritual, free of desires, no yetzer hara, being in the holy presence of Hashem & feeling it 24-7 etc…) you would look forward to completing your mission ASAP so you can head to the TRUE world above
i.e. this is why Hashem cannot reveal to anyone what his mission is in this world, cause if it was revealed then either the person would do it ASAP or he would avoid it forever so that he can remain in this physical world of pleasures forever.
