Based on your experience, what is the best type easy to clean, and nonstick frying pan, for every day use?
There’s a huge anti-Teflon (and coatings, in the same category) movement, due to health concerns.
Iron skillets are healthy, but heavy, and how do you clean them?
Are ceramic pans a new thing? What makes them special?
Thank you 🙂
ps. Right now, I’m using nonstick frying pans from Costco. They are Teflon-ish. It’s been a few weeks of this, and I’m concerned about health risks from the material.

Its heavy, but many claim it to be healthy, though it needs to be carefully washed.September 28, 2017 3:07 pm at 3:07 pm #1372946MenoParticipantIs cast iron different from regular iron?
Is it even possible to make an iron pan using any method other than casting?

Cast iron pans are very nice but if you buy them pre-seasoned there could be kashrus concerns, and if you season them yourself it’s a bit of a hassle.
Teflon contains manmade molecules that enter, and never leave, the human body, and nobody knows if they’re harming you.
