There is a store on 18th ave called Glatt Kosher Family. It is run by Chinese people and has a mashgiach there that goes in and out of the kitchen. I am sure most people know which store I am talking about. Well I haven't gone there for years because I was nervous about the hashgacha of the place. What are your opinions? Is it a Kosher restaurant? is it as kosher as say Kosher Delight or China Glatt, Schnitzi?....

A Mashgiach Nichnas V'oytzei is enough M'ikar Hadin. Some communities can afford to say that they will only eat somewhere with a Mashgiach T'midi. It is improper to go against community standards even if they are not completely necessary M'ikar Hadin. I have no idea what the prevalent custom is in whatever area of New York that you're referring to.

I would eat there if I knew the Rav Hamachshir to be a reliable person.

    Not a cat person

Being someone who has worked as a mashgiach part time in several JEWISH owned restaurants I have no ideas how nichnas veyotzei can be allowed. These restaurants were owned by Jews who weren't frum by any means, but they still felt it was allowed for them to wash their own leafy vegetables using their methods and check their own eggs when the mashgiach wasn't around. Not trying to incite panic, but the whole kashrus industry is pretty scary when it comes to restaurants.
