I heard kabbalistly that the other half of Yom Kippur is Purim because the full name of Yom Kippur is Yom Kippurim, and also because according to chosiddim that u can accomplish the same teshuvah thru drinking and merriment on Purim, that u can accomplish on Yom Kippur thru fasting and davening.

I’ve seen Aron Kodesh covers with symbols for five yom tovim on each side. Yom Kippur was always linked with Purim

I think you should daven with twice as much kavana on YK so u dont need to drink yourself stupid on Purim.

Maybe if one works on growth through celebration. If you think that just plain old shikrus will get you the same place as inui, I’m afraid that you might have a big surprise coming.

You definitely need to combine shikrus with celebration on Purim. One cannot go without the other.

midwesterner: No, that sounds about right. Meaningless Shichrus on Purim will get you the same (long-term) as meaningless Inui on Yom Kippur. Fasting without T’shuvah is meaningless.
