With the help of NASA and modern day technology, America has made major advancements on their expeditions to Mars. In fact a few years ago, NASA made a public announcement, revealing their plans to get humans living on Mars in the next few decades (!) , but it would take a lot of money and hard work.
For the Frum world, however, there would arise many problems regarding living on another planet. You see, the Zmanim are completely different up there. In Mars there are 687 days in a year (in Jupiter there are 12 days per year!!), every day is 23 hours and 56 minutes, completely corrupting the Zmanim system for the whole Frum world. Would Shabbos be kept according to Mar’s solar system or according to ours – along with many other controversies that would arise then. But hopefully Moshiach will have come before that and we won’t have to worry.
By the way, I wonder if there would be a space shuttle that could transport people between the two worlds so that they could visit their universe pals. There would probably also be a lot of war and disputes for nations to acquire their own piece of land and minerals. But maybe new nations will be started then!

ps. you can even explore Mars on Google Earth by clicking on the harmless google link below. You can also see the moon!

The sefer Tiferes Yanoson by Rebbe Rav Yanoson Eibshutz explains the Dor Haflogah that they built the tower in order to escape another flood by moving to the moon knowing that it is a place to settle.

They wanted to use a spaceship travelling from the top of the tower where air pressure is light.

I would be the first Chabad Shliach there on Mars ( : – would that be a Dirah bitachtonim or a dirah bielyonim (because Mars is higher)?
