Do we have the “M” word mixed up with the “PM” word? Also known as, Mo and Po-Mo.

For a Mo-O Jew, there is truth.

As for the Po-Mo world, that’s where it gets messy.

Yes? No? Oui? Non? Ken? Lo?

    Thank you 🙂

The Western world as we refer to it and its influences is no longer considered modern society. Technically speaking. It’s called postmodern.

Honestly I am confused too and trying to figure it out.

From what I have gathered thus far, the paradigm shift towards an individualistic society where everyone does his or her own thing comes from the Postmodern era beginning in the 1950s.

    From Revise Sociology:

“Post modernists argue that we live in a ‘Pick and mix’ society. Individuals today are free to pick their lifestyle and life course, from a wider range of options than ever before, just as if they were picking and choosing products in a super market!” (Revise Sociology)

Sounds like postmodernism is what we associate with the threat to Yiddishkeit.

    I’ve never heard of Post-Zionist.

I wonder how my USPS Person feels about all this.

Postmodernism is considered over according to some of the people in charge of that stuff.

There’s no agreed-upon name. I think eras only get their final name after they’re over.

Modernism and modernity are not the same thing.
