Hi guys, long time no post.
I have a quick question for all the filter experts on here. Youtube is on my “always block” list on K9, and won’t ever appear, not if I type in the url, and not as a video on a dif. website, like YWN. All of a sudden, not only do videos show upon websites, I can actually go directly to youtube.com and not get blocked. Logging in to K9 shows that youtube is still in my always block list. I tried deleting it from the “ab” list and re-adding it. No go. The only eitzah so far is to restart my computer, which is obviously not practical. Can anyone enlighten me as to how to fix this glitch?

Anyhow, try blocking the whole video category. Also, put an extra layer of filtering on. I use OpenDNS on my router.

YW29: K9 provides telephone support for free users of their program?
January 30, 2015 2:46 pm at 2:46 pm #1055950YW Moderator-29 π¨βπ»ModeratorI sent them an email and they asked me to download something that would send them a snapshot of the problem occurring. I honestly can’t remember if I spoke to them by phone, or if they were just so quick with their responses that I remember it as a conversation.

I suggest you get a stronger filter.
