Anyone have any tips on how to get the most “mileage” out of donuts. I find that usually donuts even when purchased fresh are really only good that day and by the next day they are hard and dried out. What is the best way to store donuts and keep them fresh for the longest amount of time?

    Thanks!

Freeze them until you need them.

And when I need them what is the defrosting procedure, just leave them out on the counter top to defrost?

Freeze in freezer bags from which you have removed as much air as possible.

Microwave won’t make a chocolate covered donut melt?
