I’m looking for a decently priced, long-term storage facility close to Flatbush/Boro Park.
If anyone would care to share their experiences or advice it would be very much appreciated.
Would probably need the storage for 1-2 years. Mostly furniture, books, seforim, etc.

The cost of long term storage should not come close to the value of what you are storing. I stored stuff after my home was damaged in a natural disaster, and I am pretty sure I wound up throwing away money instead of useless, worthless furniture.

Against Craigslist… especially when you want to see your belongings again, want to ensure your personal protection, and can expect to be giving the storage facility personal information such as your name, address, and possibly credit card data.

When looking for a storage facility, do you take into account risks related to humidity, insect infestations, and/or looting — G-d forbid?
