and the chicken make the throat a little dry, you can drink a l’chaim until the head is in the sky. [It loses something 🙂 … ])

(Tell me, how’s the Zeide doing?)

    No? Yeah. Yeah? No!

Oy, Bubby, do you think my [junky/decrepit?] car

can drive as far as South Fallsburg that quickly?

By the way, who can tell me what’s unique about

“The Big K’nocker” out of all of his songs?

Comlink: Seems great! Don’t remember when I last heard this song but if you’re looking for the word (hope I’m spelling it right) ???????????? (as in car here) it means rusty.

And tzimmes is cooked SWEET carrots.

Great job overall, but if you’re really bored you can brush up on your Yiddish grammar…

    heshy walfish?

    #1148432

Mammele – Yes, that’s the word.

    Skripka – No.

I forgot to mention that I don’t know how to translate “bruch.”

(Also, I think there are two “No? Yeah.”s before the “Yeah? No!”)

why not? which other song does he sing?

    #1148434

Oh, I see what you mean now. That wasn’t what I meant,

    although it might be true.

    #1148435

The song’s title character is named after the original artist.
