and my closest friend just got engaged to a guy from the same home town as my chosson. we both moving to the same place!!! Its hysterical. the whole world is freaking out about it. (if you know us!)

Lesson # 1 -
Disclose too much info on the CR (like the fact that you / your friend just got engaged to boys from OOT, and that you are both moving OOT) and you are bound to provide people with the facts they need to connect the dots.
Lesson # 2 -
Absorb lesson # 1. Getting married means you will be privy to details you do NOT want to share with others. And if you think the people you share secrets with keep it to themselves, trust me, they don't. They may not say, "such and such told me xyz" but when the say, "a friend told me" and the next day you drop a connecting hint, the facts all come together.
New reality: keep things you want kept secret to yourself.

Mazal tov to me!! I got accepted to SUNY! I will b'ezras Hashem be taking a two year course in business management, focus in warehouse managing. I am so excited! (Even if it does mean I am going back to school, lol).

PrincessEagle: :D hopefully you won't have to wait that much longer (please Hashem) dunno exactly how soon anything will happen as life is about to get insane what with holiday season at work being two to three months straight pretty much starting with rosh hashanah and going straight through until and including december and me starting college and all (november) but who knows ... (have i been saying too much lately? lol)
ronrsr: i am in the center for distance learning (entirely online which includes full on virtual campus which includes interaction) as i do work full time during the day.
