    Just one of those things, we want delicious bread but we don’t want to spend the extra few minutes to say Birchas Hamozon.

    If you eat a substantial amount of it, don’t you have to wash and say Hamotzee anyway, even on mezonos items (like if you ate a whole cake)?

    If it is Mezonos due to being cooked then the Shiur doesn’t change the Brocha.

    You don’t WANT to bench? Are you aware that benching is a mitzvah from the Torah (if you ate to satiation)?
