Funding to the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem, which is where most students from abroad study, is also to be abolished. Mir Yeshiva currently receives about NIS 43 million from the state per year.
I’m not going to deal with “blame”, but this certainly caught my eye.
You believe that the Mir is getting 43 million shek a year?
