   How long does it take for posts/topics to be approved by the mods?

   There's no set time. It depends on if there's a mod "on duty." It could be 30 seconds, it could be 5 hours.

   There's already a thread for asking questions of the mods. It's called "Mods? Mods?" and is under YWN Issues.
