ames, I'm sorry to inform you that GOL has been coined many times by many different people, long before 2009. Do a google search for gol = groan out loud, or gol (groan out loud). The only reason that it is not a known internet acronym is because it never caught on. So everyone who thinks of it thinks it is original.
