I would say that this is proof that cold drinks, such as Coca Cola are so much better than coffee, because all you need is a little fridge, and you are good to go!

mepal - I know. It's one of my few failings in life, the fact that I don't drink coffee. Perhaps it's what I need to atone for? :P

mepal - what's funny is that I don't drink Coca Cola due to it having caffeine in it (though I cannot stomache Diet Coke) - I just drink it because I like it

Nope - I do Coke, and only Coke (well, maybe some other stuff occasionally on the side). Actually, my grandfather has a book on the life and history of Coca Cola - it's about 3 inches thick, and could probably be used as a doorstop. Some of it is quite interesting though

yeah remember what we said here (i think from the mispacha magazine -ames that's your cue!) how the first one bombed out so they put out a second one called "coca cola classic" and it was a hit. not sure what happened in between that and diet sprite.

I thought that Coke classic is the original, and that it is to distinguish it from New Coke, which bombed (I mean really bombed - yuck - the stuff tasted like motor oil).

squeak - it gets confusing. Coke Classic is actually the 'New Coke' from the 70's or so. Then, they did another rebrand recently - the New Coke that you'r referring to. That one bombed.
