People who wear fake eyeglasses

Youngest ms CTL wore eyeglasses with clear non-prescription lenses in college and Law school. She found the professors took her more seriously than when she was just a ‘pretty face’…………….The studious/nerd look can also be helpful in job interviews for professional positions

Are disabled people entitled to special protections they don’t want to share with others?

I’ve worn eyeglasses for almost 60 years. I don’t consider myself as disabled.

Eyeglasses are often worn as fashion accessories. Mrs. CTL has multiple pairs, in assorted colors and sizes to coordinate with her clothing.

My late mother A”H used a walker from the age of 91-94. It was a triangular wheeled variety. There was a snap on leather bag to hold her small needs. Just as she might choose a handbag to ear in Black, Brown, White to match her clothing and/or shoes, she had different color bags to snap on the walker, thus detracting from its ordinary look and making it part of her clothing/persona
