What are your favorite ways to use denture cleaning tablets for Pesach cleaning?

    Thanks 🙂

Don’t use them since I don’t have dentures.

All the more reason to use them.

I recently discovered them. I have a nightguard and my dentist gave me free samples of denture cleaning tablets to clean it.

Then I learned that it cleans my sink too.

Wondering about where else to use it for Pesach cleaning (obviously officially kashering surfaces is still required. Still this is a cool way to do the preliminary work)

I am not sure that denture cleaning tablets are any better than the regular cleaning products used.

Better make sure they contain no chametz.

    Per Wikipedia

Dilute sodium hypochlorite (i.e. a mild bleach) is the main constituent of several brands of denture cleanser.

Other ingredients include such chemicals as:

sodium bicarbonate – or baking soda, which alkalizes the water, cleaning the dentures.
    citric acid – removes stains.
    sodium perborate
    sodium polyphosphate
potassium monopersulfate – cleaning and bleaching agent
    EDTA

Do cleaning products need to be kosher for Passover?

And/or do you mean to make sure that I do not clean my night guard with chametz containing products?

    Thank you

LB: many cleaning products have either chametz or kitniyos. Some are allowed on Pesach and others are not. Please visit the websites of the OU and the Star-K and download their Pesach guides.
