The many threads here have made it clear that many here have had unwanted email contact with stalkers. Some have had threats and harassment issues, which is a felony. While many here did not have this problem, there is an unfortunate number here who had.
BTguy suggested getting law enforcement involved. However, it's tough to know what to do with the police, and no LE contacts have been forthcoming.

In addition, he has spoken in numerous yeshivas and has appeared in many Orthodox magazines. He is available to help everyone fight back at their email stalkers. He knows the system, and knows what's criminally actionable and what's not. He can also do computer forensics if you suspect criminal activity. His website is philiprosenthal.org. As always, ask your rabbi before pursuing actual criminal charges. While he charges money, you might be able to sue the stalker for restitution.
