Why would one of the mods ask a poster to email them?

Is it like being sent to the principal? Does it mean they are in big trouble? Am I going to be sent to the principal for asking this question?

    Mods?

From a posters perspective, you have nothing to worry about ;)

Could be many things. Often regarding a YW Rule that the poster is violating and may not be aware of.

Random question - why do all kids that I have observed when playing on a trampoline always jump clockwise? Is it a righty/lefty thing or do they all do it? Or do lefties jump counter clockwise?

It's the coriolis effect. Children in south america jump counter clockwise, whether they are righties or lefties.

Wow I thought you were joking but I was thinking about Pesach when I took my niece and nephews on the trampoline and we were all jumping clockwise! That's really funny!

Please accept my sincere apologies. Side note I think you are very observant to notice that. Or you babysit kids on trampolines too much.

Yes, I'm an observant Jew! :)

BTW I observed a lefty today and she also went clockwise. When I asked her to go counter clockwise she tried but said it feels weird.

What other useless but fascinating facts or social experiments do you have to share?

    Shticky Guy-

    Interesting observation - here's a theory.
Most people will go to their right when they have a choice of two different ways to go.
That's why a recommendation I read somewhere (I forget where) was that if you're going to a crowded amusement park in the morning, go to your left instead of your right, as there will be fewer people there.
Turning clockwise is also turning right.

Now, why do go-cart tracks and skating rinks almost always run counter-clockwise? I don't know, but it may be that it's because traffic is moving to your right as you enter the track from the outside.

From reading the rest of the comments, you would almost think that I didn't post the answer. How selfish of me not to.
