Hello. Does anyone have experience with writing a letter to (or visiting) the Satmar Rebbe (of Williamsburg)?
I live out of the tri-state area.
Assistance greatly appreciated.

No, but you're more likely to get an answer by contacting someone you know who is Satmar.
How about discussing Yom Yerusholayim with the Rebbe? if/when you get to see him.
Or are you planning on attending Shovu'os nite learning with the Rebbe? I once spent Shovu'os nite learning with the Bostoner Rebbe, and it was a very pleasant experience.
147, did you ever discuss Yom Yerushalyim or Yom Ha'atzmaut with R' Avigdor Miller Zt"l?

Do you know that Satmar says Tachanun on 5 iyyar even if there's a bris?!

Daas Yochid:- FYI:- Rav Avigdor Miller ZT'L is a Musmach of Yeshiva University, and this Yeshiva where he graduated from, strongly holds of these 2 observances.

WIY:- Gee:- This is great! So we both pray from the same Sefer Tehillim, some from Chapter 6, and some from Chapter 113-18, but we both firmly hold onto the same Sefer Tehillim.
& did you know WIY, that in my Shoule we also recite Tehillim Perek 6 on 1st day of Rosh haShono? since we commence Sefer Tehillim on 1st afternoon of Rosh haShono, and always get way past Perek 6.
& does Satmar recite Tachnum on Iyyor 5, when there is a Chosson [assuming they allow marriages until end of Nisson:- I have no idea what their Minhog is? 1st 33 days or last 33 days?] & does Satmar recite Tachnun on Iyor 5th at a Shiva? Bar Minon.

So, in other words, his not celebrating them was not simply following what he was taught from youth, it was a thought out position.
