Maharal Tzintz- said he would be an intermediary in Olam Haba for whoever helps to publish his sforim. See website http://www.tzintz.org/

Ohr Hagonuz (Reb Yehuda Leib HaKohen of Anipoli)- In the haskama to the sefer, Reb Mordechai of Chernobyl writes that everyone should acquire this holy sefer, as a zchus and shmira for himself and descendants for generations.

Ber Mayim Chaim – learning it does a great favor for the soul

Reb Yonoson Eibshutz- learning his sforim lets one have pure thoughts

Mishna Berurah – all 5 Chalokim. Learn it, and know basic halacha very well.

    Really easy segulah.

As a side note, there is a segulah in the aseres hadibros. Kabed es avicha v’es imech lmaan yarichun ya’amecha.

No kupat ha’ir “guarantees” needed. Straight from maamad har sinai.

    Pretty simple.

see the brachos and klalos in devarim. Don’t need any greater havtachos than the Torah itself.

Look at these like a bonus. Either way, a lot of these segulos are to learn these sefarim and these are all very holy sefarim that if learned will have a special impact on the person so it makes sense that by learning it you will become a holier person and thereby deserve more brachos in your life.

These are the real thing. These are from hundreds of years ago and many of the segulos are promised by the mechaber of the sefarim themselves. I bought the Kav Hayashar and I started learning it. Its an incredibly holy and deep sefer dealing with many esoteric topics. If you want to get a better idea what happens in shomayim when we do certain mitzvos and aveiros then this sefer is for you. It really builds your yiras shomayim.

Maybe I will just stop trying to be nice and post things that are beneficial to the oilum here. I received 1 positive comment and like 6-7 negative ones. And we wonder why moshiach isnt here….

You provided a list of seforim whose authors promised all sorts of things. All I and several others have pointed out, is that the author of the torah also promised a segula if you learn his sefer too.

if learning all these seforim is a segulah than i can be sure learning some torah ,neveim kesuvim, mishnah , tosefta, bavli, yerushalmi , midrash ..etc….etc… is an extremely powerful ”segulah”. [actually the nefesh hachaim [maggid fun veluuzhiiin] explains the kochos of limud hatorah in shaar daled.]

also yw esitor. there are six chalakim in most mishnah beruros [ unless you are not counting chelek daled].

and i personally learn torah because that is what I am here to do {avos 2:8} not because this and this person said it is a segulah for that.

also is it to hard for you to fast and have all the aveilus in the middle of the summer. don’t worry giva a thousand dollars to kupat ha’ir and reb chaim kanievski will do all the aveilus for you 🙂

Kav Hayashar is a very Holy yet scary sefer. Its mostly Kabbalah brings a lot of Zohar. He talks a lot about the evil malachim and demons (She dim) that are created by various aveiros.

This sefer is not for everyone. Take a look at the English translation at your local seforim store and you will see what I mean.

Thank You WellInformedYid! I truly appreciate your posting these Sgulos.

I am sure this knowledge, and most importantly acting upon this knowledge, will enormously help many people benefit from these Segulos.

Wasnt it R’ Elyashiv Shlita who said he would prefer to earn Olam Habba on his own merits instead of relying on segulos? the story goes that he was asked to be sandek at a bris of a great-great (maybe just one great) grandson and he kept saying no. He was told, “its a segula of some sort to be the sandek at a great-great (one great?) grandsons bris”. He replied, the trip to bnei brak and the resulting recuperation necessary will take away hours from his learning. He would prefer to earn his olam habba by learning than “by segulos”. That is the story. I dont know how cedible it is, or isnt, although I heard it from someone who is pretty credible.

Then again, if you ARE going to learn torah and earn the brachos and havtachos mentioned in the torah, you may as well learn the torah of someone who promises something on top of that, get a double bracha. Maybe that is a dumb thing to say, didnt really think about it to much.

apushitayid – WHAT? they told R’ ELYASHIV that it’s a segula? As if he doesn’t know?

Someone told me that at the tznius video they showed they kept reiterating that it’s a segula for children, shidduch… and had some story of “proof”. THERE IS NO SEGULA LIKE TORAH! finished . We should keep tznius, give tzedaka… and everthing BECAUSE ITS A TZIVOY HASHEM. Thats IT! and all these stories, it could be it was because of the segula / not but who are we to say that it happened BECAUSE of this segula….

    #1115091

    i meant – “they told R’ ELYASHIV that it’s a segula – as if he does/doesn’t know?

If these Kodesh Kedoshim who wrote these Seforim HaKedoshim specifically wrote it is a Segulah by learning it (or whatever action they specified) to achieve whatever reward, I would take their holy words very seriously and seek to take full advantage of the Segulas these Chachmei Yisroel wrote.

    #1115093

Maxwell true, however the problem comes when people are running after every segula but the basics are being forgotten and becoming secondary.

    #1115094

I think it’s true that the Torah has everything in it already.

Parshas Ha’Man is a segulah that if you say it everyday you will never be missing food from your table

Parshas Ha’Yirah is a suglah for yiras shamayim

Parshas Ha’Teshuvah is a segulah for teshuvah

Learning Chumash Rashi is supposed to be a segulah for Emunah

I heard a story of a ba’al eitzah who would always say all taryag mitzvos before he would eat. Someone once askedim for a segulah for something and he said that he doesn’t know much about segulos but saying all taryag mitzvos before you eat soup is a segulah to cool off a hot soup

But still the Rishonim and Achronim didn’t put out sifrei mussar and machshavah for nothing. We are supposed to learn these things in addition to learning Torah. So that being the case if someone is looking to work on a particular area such as yiras shamayim or is especially worried of his din WellInformedYid provided us with options that one can learn during ‘mussar seder’

True the point is that there are different types of segulos. Theres the segulah where you say or do some simple thing that takes a second and disregard important issues like limud Hatorah…and then there are segulos like the ones I brought here which are mostly to learn these sefarim (which are all very holy sefarim packed with lots of meaningful and life changing information written by very holy people) which will have an ADDED BENEFIT that the person who learns them will gain as promised by the author.

If there was something wrong with segulos the authors wouldnt make such promises. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain to start learning the sefarim I mentioned. Of course some people are anti segulos and limud Hatorah is a segulah so they wont learn…you need to use your head sometimes.

somebody came to rav elyashiv and asked him if he wants to be sandek at his great grandsons bris?he said no. they asked him y not ? its a segula so the rav said in heaven there r a bunch of little doors and 1 big door

the little doors r for segulas the big door is torah

i want to get thru that big door

I just heard about a segulah for all inyanim by learning a sefer called Zera Shimshon, the author Reb Shimshon Chaim Nachmani who passed away without children promises in the introduction that anyone who learns from this all good etc.., (he lists alot specific things) and many have seen yeshous just by learning from this sefer including having children after many years, shidduchim, refuos, ( i recently started learning this sefer, very enjoyable)

Yes, you already posted a topic on it with a different username.

    #1115098

    more people could benefit!
