Hi,
I am a girl from a very out of town place (far from the US), and therefore am now in Israel to look for a shidduch.
What is the outview for American Bochurim re shidduch dating while learning in israel? do americans have some kind of system where they only begin dating once they get back home?
Are there any exceptions to this rule?
And the types of boys I am referring to are regular mainstream; TOMO, the mir etc..

there is something called yismach which might be able to help you (i think it is nonprofit otherwise this might be an advertisment) basicly it orginizes anglo shadchanim for peaple speaking english in isreal

I dated my husband in Israel, and we are both from chutz laaretz. There are many guys who are looking to date in Israel, out of towners like yourself, or baalei teshuvah, or simply love learning in E’Y. For mainstream FFBs, it’s not the norm, but it does exist. B”H the majority of my friends who chose to date here found spouses here, and we all had our weddings here too. Should be behatzlacha!
