This lobsterback doesn't get a subtitle. Next time don't massacre us in Boston, and we'll think about it. And no taxation without 16th amendmentation!

all sorts of abbreviations keep popping up so I think we need a post of meanings...
here are some of the more popular ones even I worked out (self praise better then none!)
    LOR Local Rabbi
    LOL. Laugh out loud
    OP. Original poster (?)
    PBA. Popa bar abba (username)
    C A. CoffeeAddict (username)
    D Y. DaasYochid (username)
    R B. RealBrisker (username)
    please correct if wrong!

I'm sure there are more so everyone please help build the list, and if you don't know what one means I'm sure the more imaginative members do.

always runs with scissors fast asked:

"is IMHO regular internet slang on any blog or just the CR? "

    It's general internet slang.

BTW, there are web sites dedicated to internet/texting abbreviations and slang.

    Hi arwsf.

From what I know DH stands for designated hitter and is used in baseball where a player goes up to bat for a pitcher, who I guess has to rest instead of batting and running bases. It may have another meaning, I dont know.

Do you ALWAYS run fast with scissors? What are you cutting? lol

  32. always runs with scissors fast
    irons with spray starch

running fast with scissors is the best way to beat your morning and start the day. With scissors you can cut up anything, you can make ribbons on gifts have that swirl affect, and you can look intimidating during it all.

Abbreviations must be viewed in the context or surroundings of where it is used. So for example in the coffee room DME would stand for Dolt and Mildly Eccentric

crazybrit-I assune you mean divrei hamaschil-as in the words starting with.

divrei hamaskil would be more like a quote from Herzl or Mendelsohn.

    E"Y - Eretz YIsroel
MO - Modern Orthodox, can be Modus Operandi (but probably not)
    R"L - Rachmana Litzlan
    LH - Loshon Hora
ROTFL or ROFL - Rolling On (The) Floor Laughing
    VIN - Vehicle Identification Number
    YWN - Yesterday Was Nice
CR - Crazy Retards or Community Rabbis

This is how you do bold
    <str ong> insert text here </str ong>

This is how you do italics
    <e m> insert text here </e m>

Just remember to remove the blank space in between the words "strong" and "em"
