seriously I do. I was just continuing areivim's strategy of using reverse psychology to get him back. I didn't think anyone would take me seriously.
and if squeak did take me seriously and feel hurt, then I'm gonna have to pull a squeak and quit the CR, lol.

Now that I was yotzei my standard narishkeit, I would like to say the following in all seriousness:
99% + of the people here, even when they say something sharp, don’t mean to hurt yenem. If those who were hurt, or hurt others, were to return with the knowledge they now have it would undoubtedly add civility and mentchlichkeit to the discourse of this site. I can completely understand the reluctance to return and possibly cause (or receive) pain, (I almost quit after Rosh Hashana for that reason), but the truth is that’s throwing out the baby with the bathwater. Besides just “chapping a schmooze”, there has been learning done (halachic discussions with mekoros, learning for shloshim, etc.), useful advice given (computers, sales, restaurants), safety discussions (VERY important, potentially) as well as the specialized discussions of hobbies and interests. As careful as we try to be with our words, we may slip up or have something misinterpreted. In that case, it is best to apologize and take measures to prevent it from happening again. It would be a real shame to deprive yourself of our scintillating :) company, as well as us of yours.

i have been reading the posts here for some time & i finally joined...
i have 1 problem with this site: why don't they let you choose your own password??? it drives me crazy b/c theres no way 4 me 2 remember it, so i have to keep looking it up again every time!!!
go to the upper right corner where it says welcome and your screen name. click on your screen name and choose edit. from there you can enter a new password. YW Moderator-72
