I have wondered how shopping seems to know so much in such an allegedly short time. Such as the thread where she seems to know who has multiple screen names. Hmmm. A former lurker perhaps? oomis: I always wondered how to do that! I can't get my feet anywhere near my mouth! And, come to think of it, I do not want to put my foot in my mouth! So forget about that!!

Oomis, I wasn't at all trying to be nice. That's just how it appears to me, and probably all the others here. You seem to be well thought out, very knowledgeable in many areas, and have an extremely pleasant personality. I've been reading your posts for (I'm ashamed to admit how long), that's how you come across.

Thanks for the really nice words from you and Syag. I have always TRIED to maintain a pleasant demeanor, because I subscribe to the belief that one can disagree without being disagreeable. But I have on occasion made a gaffe or two, or possibly expressed my opinion in a somewhat more forceful (and maybe even a little judgmental)way than I intended to come across. I'm glad it wasn't perceived negatively. :)

Unfortunately, I haven't found a seafood store in Israel that will sell me 8 tons of clams yet, so prizes will have to wait until I can figure out another way to power the walrus-mobile.
