What’s with? If I want fresh donuts from the bakery. They use challah dough. Something tells me you’re supposed to make a ?????? on them. They taste like Bilkelach, and I could have sworn one of them was whole wheat, injected with filling and topped with icing.
If it’s deep fried, it’s definitely not hamotzi.
Doughnut, not donut, is the better spelling.
Fried doughnuts are always mezonos and al hamichyoh, even if you have kdai s’viah.

Was going to say that the problem is you can’t spell doughnut. I know that way is easier, but so are other things easier. Still incorrect, though. Anyway, FIF beat me to it.
DOUGHNUT is a primitive spelling from ancient times. DONUT has been accepted as a more environmentally friendly spelling.
The real problen is that no bakery (that I know of) makes a Cholov Yisroel doughnut.

Primitive spelling from ancient times? No, all you mean is that the American decision to change spellings to make them easier should be accepted across the world, because no one in the world has the intelligence to spell things correctly. It’s the same with ‘lite’ and dropping the French ‘u’ out of words like colour and honour.
