adorable-
Airlines are notorious for posting one number as a fare, but then adding all kinds of "fees" and "charges" to bring the real number up quite a bit. This also makes it difficult-to-impossible to comparison shop different airlines, since their real fare is hidden.
Senator Schumer has been fighting the airlines for a while now in an effort to force them to honestly and openly post the true price of tickets.
Out of curiosity:
1) What was the "real" fare for the Florida tickets?
2) What fees and charges were added to bring it up from the $89 advertised fare to whatever the true cost was?
